The explanation of "ago" (such as "1 month ago" or "3 months ago",”2days ago” or “3days ago”) was really confusing for a grade 1 kid.
Even though she knew the names of the months and days, counting backwards was difficult for her. For example, she found it challenging that May was 3 months ago from the current month of July.
I wish it were simpler and easier for small kids to understand.What is simple for adults can be challenging for children.
